Job Description

We are looking for veteran engineers ready to climb the next step in their career ladder. Engineers who are not only well versed in good practices but can also instil them within their peers. In essence leading from the front to build a world class product and exceptional work ethic within their teams.

You will also be expected to take an active part in development alongside your team and set the benchmark for quality for them. We’re technology agnostic so we don’t care which languages you are proficient in but Expertise in Node JS and .NET will certainly give you an edge

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex software solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers. Set their quarterly learning goals contribute to creating an environment where achievement of these goals is celebrated.
• Collaborate with product managers to define project goals.
• Drive the adoption of best practices and coding standards e.g strict code reviews, compulsory unit testing, integrating static code analyzers and linters.
• Contribute to architecture and system design decisions.
• Architect and build scalable, maintainable, and efficient back-end systems using Node.js, Next.js, and .NET and React.js.
• Collaborate on cross-platform mobile development using React Native, and contribute to both Android and iOS native development when needed.
• Utilise cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deployment and scaling.
• Identify critical infrastructure needs and areas of improvements and collaborate with Devops engineers to set these

Technical Qualifications Needed:

• Expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of software architecture patterns.
